Product Highlights USB 3. This one feels far more sturdy perhaps less susceptible to cracking like the white SanDisk one did. Went thru 3 Lexar multicard readers- the last one quit right before a big event. This a good product but BUT its too heavy! Sandisk may claim its a 'heat sink' rewder really its an attempt to justify the cost and give a perception of 'quality' but all it does is add stupid weight.

SanDisk Deader Pro overview. Card readee and feel is fine. I was a little leery about buying a card reader that had no reviews at the time of purchase — perhaps unmerited as SanDisk products are usually great, but as the portal of important data, I was a bit hesitant. The SD card slot is unreliable. This unit is reliable. You could carry another EN-EL15 in your travel kit with the weight you save its close.

Update Unrecognized Zip Code. I started to give 4 stars because I would have preferred a longer cable. As an imaging professional I require high performance gear and this extends to my reaeer reader.

With other readers it seemed to be a toss up if I had to disconnect and reconnect it to get it to show up on my system after sleep or shut down. It has little rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on readrr desk when inserting cards.
